Feast On Scraps

Welcome to Feast on Scraps. This will be a place to share my recipes, ‘cook-the-books‘ style reflections on other peoples’ recipes, musings on restaurant visits, and insights (rants!) into my thoughts on food and its place in our culture.

My personal culinary objective in life is to eat healthy, nutritionally balanced food that is both enjoyable to eat and cook. Food that shows respect to your body, the environment, your taste-buds, and sometimes most importantly, to your wallet!

The name Feast on Scraps is taken from an Alanis Morissette mini-album.  The album compiles ‘scraps’ that didn’t make it onto 2002’s Under Rug Swept, and is in my opinion, better that the studio album itself.

I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts and feedback also. For even more of my recipes, remember to visit BitchBuzz on a Tuesday for Tasty Quickie, delicious recipes that you will definitely be bothered to cook even after a hard day at work, and You Tight Bitch on a Thursday, which features yummy dinners for less than a fiver.
